Health Guidelines:
MAY

The months and years come in cycles. We may experience certain health conditions (such as those described below) which may go away, only to have them come back to us from time to time. Such health conditions may not necessarily indicate an illness.

 

Conditions you may experience this month:

 

(a)        pain in eyes, blurred vision

(b)        repeated ear infections

(c)        prolonged colds, sore throats

(d)        burning sensation in chest, heartburn

(e)        abdominal discomfort, bloating, diarrhea, constipation

(f)         heavy menstrual flows, bleeding in between periods

(g)        nausea, vomitting

(h)        frequent urination

(i)         pain during sexual intercourse

(j)         hands feel cold

(k)        numbness and/or tingling sensation in limbs

(l)         muscle ache, joint pain, pain in pelvic area

(m)       reduced appetite, weight loss

(n)        unexplained tiredness, fatigue

(o)        skin irritations, rashes ... especially when exposed to sunlight

Preventive measures to consider:

(1)        rest more

(2)        drink more water

(3)        periodically check urine colour (ideally clear or pale yellow, no foam)

(4)        reduce intake of dried fruits

(5)        reduce intake of alcoholic drinks

(6)        reduce intake of preserved and canned foods

(7)        reduce intake of instant and processed foods

(8)        reduce intake of fried foods

(9)        reduce intake of sashimi, cold meats and raw vegetables

(10)      keep clean the groin area and genitals
