Health Guidelines:
APRIL

The months and years come in cycles. We may experience certain health conditions (such as those described below) which may go away, only to have them come back to us from time to time. Such health conditions may not necessarily indicate an illness.

 

Conditions you may experience this month:

 

(a)        general fatigue, lower stamina

(b)        confusion, dizziness, drowsiness, nausea

(c)        shortness of breath

(d)        chest tightness, seizure, muscle cramps

(e)        back ache

(f)         swelling in limbs, gout

(g)        skin rashes, skin itch

(h)        loss of apetite, indigestion

Preventive measures to consider:

(1)        rest more

(2)        drink more water

(3)        periodically check urine colour (ideally clear or pale yellow, no foam)

(4)        reduce intake of avocados, apricots, bananas, kiwis and oranges

(5)        reduce intake of dried fruits

(6)        reduce intake of alcoholic drinks

(7)        reduce intake of sugared drinks

(8)        reduce intake of beans and lentils

(9)        reduce intake of whole grain foods (eg. oats, brown rice, barley)

(10)     reduce intake of diary products (milk, cheese)

(11)     reduce intake of potatoes and tomatoes

(12)     reduce intake of spinach and swiss chards

(13)     reduce intake of salt

(14)     reduce intake of preserved and canned foods

(15)     reduce intake of instant and processed foods
